In the Spring of 2022, Katie woke up one morning and said, still half-asleep, "Why don't we make our business a combination of two things that people love the most: dogs and boobs?... We can call it Boobs and Barks."

We giggled at the idea, shaking off sleepiness. But as we arose and began talking, the vision for B&B took shape and it hit us in the chest like lightening. Not only could we fill a white-space in the market for dogs and their owners, we could make a difference doing it!

Like many great things, Boobs & Barks became a reality by first asking a very simple question: Why is there no practical matching gear for women and their pups?

Women walk with their fur babies in all settings. And while they have countless ways to express their love for their dogs, from bumper stickers to "dog mom" caps, there was nothing available to perfectly match on walks, jogs, swims, or other adventures in a way that was best suited for dogs AND owners. Nothing available to match while doing exactly what dogs and their moms do every. single. day. We wanted to fix this. And so we began the long and arduous process of creating matching dog gear and athletic apparel that didn't just look great but FELT great for the owner and dog alike. Because if either party doesn't feel great wearing it, it's not worth it.

At the heart of every single piece of B&B apparel is the core tenet of feeling just as good as you look wearing our products. This meant dozens and dozens of iterations of pattern designs, fabric selections, and aesthetic artistry. It took just under two years to put it all together, but it was worth every minute. Boobs & Barks is now the first ever provider of color matching athletic apparel for women and their dogs. 

Throughout the process of developing Boobs & Barks, we realized that it is not worth starting a company if we don't leave the world a better place. We wanted to give back to those wearing our gear. As passionate believers in both women's health and saving dogs, we decided to make a charitable contribution to breast reconstruction surgeries and dog rescues for every single purchase of a B&B product. We believe the world will be a more vibrant place with more boobs & dogs in it. Ultimately, our goal is to open a non-profit within B&B that saves shelter dogs and pairs them with those touched by breast cancer as Emotional Support Dogs (ESD). We aren't there yet, but we won't stop until we are.

Boobs & Barks has also committed to making everything 100% in the USA by workers earning ethical wages. 

In the mean time, Boobs & Barks is committed to creating the best possible gear for women and dogs. We continue to grow thanks to the support and feedback of our loyal B&B community.

Katie & Kieran met in 2018, quickly fell in love with one another and are due to be wed in May, 2026.

Katie & Kieran are both supporters of personal health and wellness. They are also life-long dog owners and bonded over their passion for canines.

When they aren't working on Boobs & Barks, Kieran and Kieran can be found volunteering, exercising, or lounging near a body of water.
